current pets

currently i have no pets in my life.
kitty cleo, my sweet sweet kitty just passed away, february 18, 2006.

kitty cleo (tm)

kitty cleo was the best kitty i could have ever asked for.

see her sit quietly under the tree not even thinking about touching anything. i'm a collector and there were many things in the house she could have destroyed, but she didn't. kitty cleo kept me company when pascha the poodle passed away. she only went out to the screened back porch. i had to sign a contract saying she would only be an indoor cat, and as a result she lived much longer than my other cats. she loved to rub her kitty proteins all over me. she was fourteen weeks old and had a cold when she was rescued from kitty jail and was forever greatful.

molly barker

my sweet molly passed away
dec 3, 1998. we will miss her
loving smile terribly. she was
a keeshond, and her name was
barker, because she was. she
went nuts over the squirrels
who taunted her from the trees
in her backyard. her nickname
was fluffy muff. keeshonds are
wonderful watch dogs, and were
used as such on dutch barges.
she was rescued from dog jail
and was also forever grateful.

wilbur the
wonder dog

i had wilbur for 15 years. he was
an old english sheepdog who
had a collie for a father. he was
very well traveled, having been
as far south as key west, as far
north as boston, mass and
helena, montana, as far west as
the pacific ocean. his favorite
beach was kitty hawk, north
carolina, where he liked to body surf.




he even went canoeing on a minnesota lake.












wilbur loved chocolate (i know it's bad for dogs) and christmas!

pascha the poodle

i don't know how old pascha the * poodle
was when i got her. she was rescued by my
neighbor from a one way trip to the pound.
then my neighbor wanted to see how she
would look in my yard, and placed her over
the fence. she stayed with us for a number
of years. she kept wilbur company after shepo
passed away and she kept me company after
wilbur passed away. she became blind and deaf,
and got around by bumping into things.





shepo the shepherd

shepo was a roommate of wilbur's.
they hated each other at first, until
they decided that wilbur was the top
dog. shepo subsequently moved
away. a couple of years later we
heard that he was bound for the
pound, so we rescued him and he
spent his last days with us. shepo
and wilbur became fast friends in
the end.




kitty the kitty

kitty was quite a hunter. once
on my carpet i found a headless
squirrel she brought me as a present.
one day she didn't come home.


kitty china
kitty china was quite a
little * hell raiser. she ran
ran out the door one day
and never came home.



kitty cheops

kitty cheops was my first kitty.
he could catch flies between his
paws and the window pane, impressive!
one day he didn't come home anymore.
