i have one brother who dropped me when
i was small, which may explain it all.

i was born in munich, germany,
and traveled early in life, moving
to the u.s. when i was three. i have
lived in virginia most of my life.

i love my 2001 trans am.

i also loved my 1990 trans am.
it was murdered by a drunk diver.









this was the year that i didn't get a
barbie doll for chirstmas. that's an
unreasonable facsimile in my hands.














i went to virginia commonwealth university
and earned a bachelor of science degree in
education. this picture, which i consider to be
the best one ever taken of me, was taken my
second year there, about two months before
my twentieth birthday.

if i had to pick which celebrity i most resemble,
i would say it was a cross between mona lisa and gloria steinem

i decided teaching wasn't for me, and after working for
a number of years, i went back to school and earned a
law degree from george mason university. my parents
were always hoping i would grow up and "do something"
with my hair, but as you can see from this picture that
hasn't happened yet. i wore this to work for casual friday.
my boss told me i looked like a biker. i replied i left my
spurs and whips and chains at home to be conservative.
